HD Construction Equipment Hosts the 2nd Hyundai Mining Technology Seminar
- Invites cement industry clients and partners to foster technical exchange and strengthen cooperation
- Enhances understanding of mining technologies and equipment through training center tours and briefings
On May 22, HD Construction Equipment hosted the "2nd Hyundai Mining Technology Seminar" for key clients and partners in the cement industry at its Eumseong Global Training Center.
This annual seminar was established last year to drive the company's entry into the mining sector. It follows the completion of the smart factory at the Ulsan Campus and the successful rollout of a new lineup of ultra-large machinery weighing over 80 tons.
The event brought together about 20 attendees, including Vice President Chung Oh-chul (Korea Sales) from HD Construction Equipment; heads of mining resource teams from cement companies such as Sampyo Cement, Ssangyong C&E, Hanil Cement, and Sungshin Cement; and representatives and officials from contracting companies. Members from HD Construction Equipment’s GPM1 and Field Solution Technology teams also participated, providing clients with deep insights into the company's advanced mining technologies.
The program began with a tour of the Eumseong Global Training Center, where attendees explored the state-of-the-art training facilities and structured programs focused on maintenance and operations.
This was followed by a briefing session showcasing Hyundai's advanced mining equipment and solutions. Highlights included ▲ the ultra-large equipment lineup, featuring electric Wide Dump Trucks (WDTs), ▲ automation and unmanned technologies, ▲ safety and efficiency-boosting features in the next-generation excavator models, and ▲ smart mining solutions.
VP Chung Oh-chul stated, “This seminar was designed to showcase HD Hyundai Construction Equipment's advanced mining machinery and technologies directly to our clients and partners, while sharing actionable application strategies built on real-world experience. Moving forward, we will continue to expand client engagement and provide dedicated, field-focused technical support.”
