HD Hyundai XiteSolution Holds Demonstration of Logistics Automation for Key Clients
- Unveils site-focused automated solutions and the future of logistics management
- Self-driving forklifts draw massive interest with automatic truck loading and high-level VNA rack operations
HD Hyundai XiteSolution held a smart logistics demonstration on May 27 at its Eumseong Campus Test & Verification Center in Chungcheongbuk-do, showcasing practical self-driving solutions and the future of logistics operations. The event was a major success, drawing over 80 industry leaders from the logistics, distribution, manufacturing, IT, and rental sectors.
The company organized the event to meet the fast-growing demand for automation across the logistics industry. It allowed clients to see how these advanced technologies operate in real-world environments and to share a practical vision for fully automated job sites.
The live show highlighted a seamless automation technology that connects equipment, software platforms, and data into a single flow using autonomous industrial vehicles and smart fleet management solutions. HD Hyundai XiteSolution also displayed its next-generation electric forklifts (the B-X model lineup), alongside warehouse equipment like stackers and reach trucks.
To address real-world challenges such as heavy, repetitive tasks and worker fatigue, the self-driving equipment was tested in actual warehouse settings. A wide range of automated forklifts—including the EB035A, RS010A, EP20A, ES15A, ECS15A, and TW15A—wowed the crowd by ▲flawlessly loading and unloading wing-body trucks, ▲moving pallets, ▲stacking materials in Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racks, ▲loading conventional racks, and ▲transporting goods across flat ground.
The live demonstration allowed clients to see the self-driving equipment in action and evaluate how seamlessly the systems integrate data in real-time. The clients shared positive feedback on how easily these tools could be deployed to boost everyday efficiency.
Major logistics firms and manufacturers were particularly impressed by two things: the EB035A autonomous forklift automatically loading a wing-body truck, and the TW15A 3-way forklift stacking pallets on high-level, narrow racks. Many eagerly asked about the timeline for immediate onsite pilot testing (Proof of Concept).
"Automation is all about connecting an entire workplace into one smooth, uninterrupted flow. By letting robots handle heavy, repetitive tasks, humans can focus on critical decisions and strategic management. This is the exact direction HD Hyundai XiteSolution is heading," said CEO Song Hee-joon. "We will keep developing practical automation technologies to lead the next big shift in the logistics industry."
