HD Hyundai's Construction Equipment Division Invites Outstanding Global Staff to South Korea
- 61 participants from 13 countries visit worksites in South Korea to gain deeper insight into operations
- HQ and overseas subsidiaries execute pre-selected collaborative tasks during the visit
The construction equipment division of HD Hyundai invited global staff from around the world to South Korea from May 18 to 23 through the Global Talent Program (GTP) to promote its "One-team" vision and foster unity.
GTP is a program designed for "global staff"—HD Hyundai's locally hired personnel overseas—to share the Group's corporate values and strategic direction while enhancing their sense of belonging.
The program, first launched by HD Hyundai's construction equipment segment in 2023, expanded in 2024 to include global staff from all group affiliates. This expansion followed highly positive feedback from previous participants and demonstrated effectiveness in enhancing communication between headquarters and subsidiaries. This year, a total of 61 employees from 13 countries visited South Korea, comprising 27 from the construction equipment segment and 34 from other affiliates.
The participants toured the HD Hyundai Global R&D Center and explored the production lines for construction equipment, shipbuilding, and power equipment at the Ulsan Campus. During training sessions focused on the company's history, current business status, and core values, they deepened their understanding of HD Hyundai's operations and fostered a sense of pride in being part of the organization.
They took the lead in building a tighter global cooperation system by participating in global collaborative projects. Tasks requiring cooperation between headquarters and overseas subsidiaries were selected in advance, and the actual collaborative work was carried out during their stay in South Korea.
Cho Young-cheul, Vice Chairman of HD Hyundai, emphasized, "Our global staff are the most essential contributors to realizing HD Hyundai's values and vision across various business fields." He added, "I hope this journey serves as a platform for exchange among HD Hyundai members and becomes the starting point of a united 'One Team' that connects different regions and experiences."
