HD Construction Equipment Hosts Integrated Hyundai-DEVELON AM/PS Conference for APAC & CIS Regions
- Introduces the integrated Hyundai-DEVELON AM/PS organization and discusses strategies to enhance service competitiveness
- Establishes collaboration plans and execution strategies to reach KRW 1.4 trillion in revenue by 2030
HD Construction Equipment recently invited Aftermarket (AM) and Product Support (PS) dealers from the APAC and CIS regions to Korea for a strategic conference. The event took place in two sessions: from April 6 to April 9 for Hyundai dealers and from April 8 to April 10 for DEVELON dealers.
The conference was attended by around 70 participants, including Kim Byoung-soo, Vice President of the AM/PS Division, as well as other key AM/PS personnel and dealership representatives. Discussions centered on the operational roadmap for the newly integrated AM/PS organization and the detailed action plans required to meet its mid- to long-term objectives.
In the Aftermarket (AM) sector, the company introduced key initiatives to diversify its business and drive revenue growth, including the sale of Extended Warranties and the Parts Sales & Service Representative (PSSR) program. Additionally, discussions centered on creating a sustainable profit model for AM, focusing on strategic sales items, including genuine oil, attachments, and the Value Mate parts line.
In the Product Support (PS) sector, the company reviewed improvements in key metrics—including MTTR, CCRR, and HDSAT—driven by the HI-CARE platform and introduced its expanding network of regional Uptime Centers. These initiatives aim to sharpen the company's competitive edge by leveraging advanced digital technology to anticipate equipment failures and deliver a superior level of proactive service.
Throughout the event, dealers exchanged best practices and shared their expertise on driving parts sales. They also toured the Ulsan Campus and the Eumseong Parts Distribution Center (PDC), gaining a comprehensive view of equipment production and logistics. The dealers spoke highly of the experience, noting that seeing the advanced smart factory and logistics infrastructure firsthand reinforced their pride as partners with Hyundai and DEVELON.
"During this conference, HD Construction Equipment and our global dealers developed a strong consensus on our shared goals of improving customer support and increasing revenue," stated Vice President Kim Byoung-soo. "It was a valuable opportunity to establish practical collaboration plans and execution strategies to reach our collective goal of achieving KRW 1.4 trillion in revenue by 2030."
