HD Construction Equipment Hosts Business Forum for Develon Dealers in Emerging Regions

HD Construction Equipment is gearing up for its January launch and recently held the 2025 Develon Dealer Business Forum in Yantai, China, from November 26 to 27.
The forum featured 74 participants, which included several key executives from HD Construction Equipment and dealer representatives from 18 emerging markets. Notable attendees were President Moon Jae-young, Executive Vice President Choi Tae-geun from the Construction Equipment Sales Division, and Vice Presidents Byun Jum-seok (APAC/CIS), Lee Dong-woo (MEA), Kim Byoung-soo (AM/PS), and Park Hyun-sang (Global AM). Additionally, Senior Managers Lee Byoung-kab (Global PS) and Noh Jang-kun (Sales Planning) were also present.
On the first day of the event, management at HD Construction Equipment presented its growth strategy and future direction following the launch of the integrated corporation, with the aim of strengthening partnerships. The presentation covered the Develon brand strategy, highlighted achievements from 2025, outlined business plans for 2026, reviewed performance in AM/PS, and discussed measures to enhance the competitiveness of parts and services.
During a Q&A session addressing pre-submitted questions, management focused on topics of interest to dealer attendees. These topics included: ▲Direction for R&D integration, ▲Regional dealer support systems, ▲Brand differentiation strategy, ▲Technology differentiation strategy, and ▲Parts pricing policy. This session was essential for building a stronger trust-based relationship between management and the dealers.
During the dealer event, Farm Supplies LTD from Guyana and My Wish Enterprise from Ethiopia presented case studies that highlighted their market-expansion experiences and effective strategies. Their presentations received enthusiastic responses from the audience.
The following day, participants toured the Yantai factory and reviewed its extensive equipment lineup. This visit offered valuable insights into Develon's production processes, competitive manufacturing capabilities, and the company's vision for market expansion. Attendees were introduced to newly unveiled equipment, which includes a 100-ton excavator, a 45-ton articulated dump truck (ADT) with a three-axle configuration, and a 90-ton wide dump truck (WDT) designed for the mining sector. Additionally, a rotary drill rig was presented to support market expansion.
Dealers expressed satisfaction with the event, noting it offered a valuable opportunity to better understand Develon's future strategy. With this clarity, they feel optimistic about future business collaborations.
