- Improving living conditions for national heroes or bereaved families who have dedicated themselves to the nation
- Renovated a total of 18 households since 2021, with three households completed this year

The HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Division has successfully completed the renovation project for the National Meritorious Persons House, scheduled for 2025.

This social contribution program enhances the living environments of national meritorious persons and their families who have devoted themselves to the nation, providing them with more comfortable and pleasant living conditions. The project involves renovating various parts of each home, including replacing major fixtures such as windows, bathrooms, and kitchens, as well as updating wallpaper, flooring, and home appliances.

HD Hyundai Construction Equipment has supported this initiative annually since 2021, assisting a total of 15 households by last year. This year, HD Hyundai XiteSolution and HD Hyundai Infracore joined the effort, providing a better living environment for three additional households.

On September 30, HD Hyundai XiteSolution completed renovations for Mr. Bae Young-yun, a descendant of a patriotic martyr, in Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Similarly, HD Hyundai Infracore completed renovations to the home of Mr. Han Sang-jin, a Korean War veteran and recipient of military merit, in Iksan-si, Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province. Following this, on November 21, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment completed the remodeling of Mr. Lee Ki-tae's home, another Korean War veteran, in Yeongcheon-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and held a completion ceremony.

The completion ceremony was attended by local government officials, representatives from agencies under the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, local dignitaries, and residents, all of whom shared in the joy of providing newly renovated homes.

Executive Vice President Kim Ki-hyung from the HR Support Division stated, “It is deeply meaningful to contribute to the heroes who dedicated their youth to the nation.” He added, “The HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Division will continue to provide practical support to those who have served the nation, including the National Meritorious Persons House Renovation Project and construction equipment maintenance training programs for discharged veterans and their families.”

National Meritorious Citizen Lee Ki-tae expressed his gratitude, saying, “It feels like a dream that the house I've lived in my entire life has been transformed into such a comfortable new home. I am truly thankful for the continued interest and significant support aimed at improving the lives of national meritorious citizens.”
