HD Hyundai’s Construction Equipment Division Conducts Community Donations for Lunar New Year

- Donated approximately KRW 60 million worth of food items to welfare facilities near business sites
- Made an early payment of KRW 108 billion in material costs to support partner companies' liquidity

The construction equipment division of HD Hyundai has donated food items worth approximately 60 million won to help underprivileged groups in local communities have a warm Lunar New Year holiday

On February 9 and 11, the company delivered 20kg bags of rice, dried seafood, and sesame oil sets to the Ulsan Dong-gu Welfare Center for the Disabled and Sister Village in Eumseong-Gun. On February 12, 11 welfare facilities in the Seongnam and Yongin areas—including the Pangyo Senior Welfare Center and Somang Rehabilitation Center—received 'Hope Lunch Boxes' as part of the holiday outreach.

On February 10 and 11, a delivery ceremony was held in the Incheon and Gunsan regions, during which 20 kg bags of rice were donated to 15 welfare facilities. The Incheon event was attended by Kim Chan-jin, Head of the Incheon Dong-gu District Office, and Kim Yeong-bin, Senior Manager of HD Construction Equipment’s Incheon & Gunsan Shared Growth Support Team. The Gunsan ceremony featured Gunsan Mayor Kang Im-jun and Choi Byoung-hag, Senior Manager of HD Construction Equipment’s Gunsan Production Management Team. The participants came together to spread holiday cheer and support those in need across both regions.

HD Hyundai XiteSolution and HD Construction Equipment made early payments of approximately KRW 108 billion for material costs. This move aims to help partner companies secure liquidity, as their demand for funds has increased due to expenses such as holiday travel allowances and bonus payments.

HD Construction Equipment is strengthening its ties with local communities through new partnerships with four key welfare institutions: Ulsan Hwajeong General Social Welfare Center, Ulsan Nammok Senior Welfare Center, the Seongnam Support Center for Seniors Living Alone, and the Yongin Giheung Welfare Center for the Disabled. By implementing tailored CSR initiatives that address specific local needs, the company is committed to building a sustainable future rooted in community trust.
