HD Construction Equipment Provides Training on Hyundai's Ultra-Large Excavators in Indonesia and Morocco
- Aimed at strengthening the service technology capabilities of ultra-large excavators mainly used in mines
- Composed of highly practical content such as diagnosis of abnormal symptoms and on-site response procedures
HD Construction Equipment conducted service technology training for Hyundai dealers in Indonesia and Morocco on ultra-large excavators from January 26 to 30.
Indonesia has the world's largest nickel reserves and production, whereas Morocco holds approximately 70% of the world's phosphate reserves; thus making mining a core industry for both countries.
This training was designed to strengthen dealers’ on-site response capabilities and improve service quality for Hyundai’s ultra-large excavators operating in major mines in Indonesia and Morocco.
Given the harsh operating environment for ultra-large excavators, with high risk of breakdown and significant customer losses if operations are interrupted, accurate diagnosis and prompt action are essential on-site.
Accordingly, the training focused on practical application such as step-by-step diagnostic approaches to major abnormal symptoms and on-site response procedures based on an understanding of the structure and operating principles of excavators.
“Since ultra-large excavators are closely related to the mining industry—a key construction equipment market—we plan to focus on strengthening our on-site response capabilities so that dealers can operate their equipment and carry out sales activities stably,” Chief Manager Lee Byeong-gap (Global PS) said.
The Global Education Center will continue providing training on Hyundai's ultra-large excavators in Mongolia in March and will also offer customized training as needed, focusing on sites where Hyundai and DEVELON's ultra-large excavators are sold and operated.
