HD Construction Equipment Attends Opening Ceremony of New Headquarters for Australian Dealer Porter

HD Construction Equipment celebrated its long-standing partnership with Australian dealer Porter during the grand opening of Porter’s new Brisbane headquarters on April 23.

The state-of-the-art facility serves as a large-scale integrated hub, strategically positioned to meet the surging infrastructure demand ahead of the 2032 Brisbane Olympics. The site unifies machinery displays, maintenance services, and parts logistics into a single location.

To broaden its offerings, Porter is expanding its fleet with Hyundai's 80-ton ultra-large excavators, new Compact Track Loader (CTL) models, and 45-ton Articulated Dump Trucks (ADTs). The 45-ton ADT order is highly significant, marking Porter’s switch from a competitor to Hyundai while establishing a foothold for local testing and market entry.

Executive Vice President Choi Tae-geun (Construction Equipment Sales) presented a 25th-anniversary appreciation plaque to Porter, honoring a partnership built since 2001. Choi stated, "Porter's significant investment will enhance our service and logistics competitiveness in the region. By collaborating strategically on high-margin machinery, we will further strengthen our position in the Australian construction and mining sectors."
