HD Hyundai’s Construction Equipment Division Employees Give High Marks to Volunteer Activities

- 98.5% of participants report "Positive" feedback in global volunteer week survey
- Expanding outreach in May through support for vulnerable groups and preparatory service to honor the upcoming Month of Patriots and Veterans.

HD Hyundai’s Construction Equipment Division conducted a survey among employees who participated in the global volunteer week in April, which revealed exceptionally high levels of satisfaction.

Of the approximately 480 domestic participants, 240 responded, with 98.5% giving positive marks for the enjoyment, fulfillment, and overall operation of the program. Furthermore, 95% of respondents felt the location, timing, and difficulty levels were well-suited to the activities.

Participants expressed a strong sense of fulfillment in taking part in activities that offered tangible benefits to the environment. They mentioned that it was a rewarding opportunity to engage with local residents while cleaning up areas around the company’s sites. Additionally, many participants noted that visiting various business sites and collaborating with colleagues from different divisions added significant meaning to the experience.

The HD Hyundai Construction Equipment Division plans to extend its interactive and contactless volunteer programs beyond the global volunteer week. In recognition of June, designated as the Month of Patriots and Veterans, the company is currently seeking employees to participate in upcoming volunteer activities in May at Seoul National Cemetery, Yeongcheon National Cemetery, and Goesan National Cemetery.

Other ongoing initiatives include "plogging" – picking up litter while jogging – around the HD Hyundai Global R&D Center, as well as volunteer meal services for vulnerable populations in Ulsan. In Incheon, programs are also in place to enhance the living conditions of households suspected of hoarding, deliver essential items to people with disabilities, and provide additional meal services.
