HD Construction Equipment Hosts Vietnamese Talents for Technical Training in Preparation for WorldSkills Competition

- Invites top students from partner university CCT1 to provide heavy equipment maintenance training.
- Enhances competition readiness through rigorous, task-based repetitive training modeled after WorldSkills Competition challenges.

From April 6 to 24, HD Construction Equipment held the "KOICA-IBS Project: 2026 CCT1 Top Student Invitation Training" at its Global Training Center in Eumseong, Korea.

This training program invited top talents from Vietnam’s CCT1 (The Central College of Transport No. 1) to Korea for intensive preparation ahead of their competition in the heavy equipment maintenance category at the WorldSkills Competition. The program focused on developing the practical technical skills necessary for success on the international stage.

It featured a comprehensive, multi-layered curriculum that combined theoretical coursework with hands-on practice and mock evaluations. The goal was to enhance competition readiness through rigorous drills modeled after actual WorldSkills Competition tasks.

Participants improved their technical expertise through intensive hands-on activities, including complete engine overhauls and thorough diagnostic inspections of hydraulic, electrical, and HVAC systems. By simulating high-stakes scenarios under strict time constraints, the program significantly bolstered participants' operational precision, time management, and overall competitive edge.

Nguyen Xuan Khanh, a student and member of the Vietnamese national team, shared his experience: "The systematic training, designed to mirror the actual exam format, has significantly boosted my confidence in solving the problem. Additionally, the opportunity to exchange insights with the Korean national team was invaluable for understanding how to prepare for international competitions."

On April 19, HD Construction Equipment participated in a Vocational Fair organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training, alongside its partner university, CCT1. Together, they operated a joint booth where they offered strategic career counseling and showcased technical training programs for the construction machinery industry.

The event took place at the Dong Anh Culture and Sports Center in Hanoi and was attended by around 10,000 middle and high school students and job seekers. Surveys conducted among participants revealed a strong interest in technical education, internships, and employment-related programs. The results of these surveys will serve as essential data for developing tailored local educational curricula in the future.

Vice President Kim Byoung-soo of the AM/PS Division stated, "This training emphasized practical, hands-on exercises designed to prepare participants for the WorldSkills Competition. We will continue to support global technical talent so they can gain a competitive edge on the international stage."
