HD Construction Equipment Holds Workshop for Domestic Sales Branch Managers in January 2026

HD Construction Equipment held a workshop in Daejeon on January 8 for domestic sales branch managers of the Hyundai and Develon brands. A total of 41 people attended, including Executive Vice President Choi Tae-geun (Construction Equipment Sales Division) and Senior Vice President Jeong Oh-cheol (Korea Sales), along with other HD Construction Equipment Korea sales personnel and sales branch managers.
During the workshop, the company shared its mid-to-long-term vision following the launch of the integrated entity, global business operation plans based on the Hyundai-Develon dual-brand strategy, and investment directions for the construction equipment sector. Additionally, key sales strategies aimed at improving profitability and enhancing brand value in the domestic market were discussed.
The heads of sales subsidiaries requested the expansion of new model product lineups, support for field sales managers, and the management of after-sales service personnel expertise. At the same time, they agreed to do their utmost to carry out strategic tasks and generate results under the new system.
Executive Vice President Choi Tae-geun stated, “Following the launch of the integrated corporation, we will operate with the goal of entering the global Top 10 by maximizing the strengths of each brand in each region,” adding, “We will expand our small equipment business in response to changes in the market environment and strengthen our competitiveness by introducing products that meet market demands, centered on R&D.”
Senior Vice President Jeong Oh-cheol said, “We will strengthen on-site sales support, expand marketing efforts—including the operation of demo equipment focused on small Equipment—and maximize efficiency by reviewing the inventory of flagship models across sales subsidiaries to improve profitability and enhance brand value.” He added, “I urge the heads of sales subsidiaries to responsibly implement these strategies based on their expertise as corporate managers.”
