HD Construction Equipment Inaugurates Integrated Mutual Growth Council for Partner Collaboration

- A partnership framework has been established among HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and the partner companies of HD Hyundai Infracore.
- Plans to achieve Lighthouse Plant Certification for the Ulsan Smart Factory were shared, and a vision declaration ceremony was held.

On December 17, HD Construction Equipment, set to officially launch in January, participated in the launch ceremony for the Integrated Mutual Growth Council for partner companies in Ulsan. This event represented a significant initial step for HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and HD Hyundai Infracore as they collaborated to establish an integrated cooperation framework among their partner companies.

The ceremony, attended by 148 participants, included HD Construction Equipment President Moon Jae-young, Senior Executive Vice President Park Chan-hyug (Quality & Production Division), Executive Vice President Jung Chang-hwa (Procurement Division), and representatives from partner companies on the council. They reiterated their dedication to improving future manufacturing competitiveness by fostering mutual growth.

Before the event, attendees explored the shipyard and the Ulsan Campus smart factory, during which plans for the Lighthouse Factory initiative were discussed. The launch ceremony featured a congratulatory address from President Moon Jae-young, a vision declaration, and the presentation of the council flag.

Senior Executive Vice President Park Chan-hyug emphasized the importance of the Ulsan Campus smart factory, noting that they will focus on operational advancement through Lighthouse Factory certification. He noted that the expertise gained during this process will be shared across the entire supply chain, including among partner companies, to ensure global top-tier manufacturing competitiveness.

Kim Do-wan, CEO of Hanwool H&P and Chairman of the Integrated Mutual Growth Council, reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the cooperative relationship in alignment with HD Construction Equipment’s global top-tier vision. He emphasized the need to enhance expertise to achieve sustainable growth amid changing global market conditions.

President Moon Jae-young remarked, “The Integrated Mutual Growth Council serves as a strategic community for HD Construction Equipment and its partners to jointly create future growth. We aim to enhance synergy in sales and production,” adding, “We will further strengthen domestic manufacturing competitiveness and develop substantial relationships that provide support and growth opportunities for our partners.”
