HD Construction Equipment Participates in India's EXCON 2025
- Showcased 15 models, including 13 locally produced excavators in India
- Mini excavator HX30AZ won the Yellow Dot Award
HD Construction Equipment, set to launch in January 2026, participated in the EXCON 2025 held in Karnataka, India, from December 9 to 13.
EXCON, South Asia's largest construction equipment exhibition, is organized jointly by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the Indian Construction Equipment Manufacturers Association (ICEMA) and takes place every two years. This year, over 1,250 companies, including global construction equipment manufacturers and parts suppliers, participated. The event was highly successful, attracting approximately 120,000 visitors, with around 5,000 customers visiting the HYUNDAI booth.
HYUNDAI showcased 15 pieces of equipment at its approximately 1,000m² exhibition booth. This included 13 excavator models, ranging from mini to medium and large sizes, as well as 2 wheel loader models. Additionally, a parts and service showroom and a brand shop were available. HYUNDAI also held a media conference to outline its future strategy and investment plans following the launch of HD Construction Equipment, demonstrating its commitment to expanding operations in India.
HYUNDAI held more than 350 handover events for key customers, enhancing the on-site experience and building trust in the local market. During the exhibition, more than 1,200 purchase inquiries were collected, indicating significant potential for generating tangible sales.
During the event, the HX30AZ mini excavator was awarded the Earthmoving Equipment Application Award at the Yellow Dot Awards presented by India’s construction equipment magazine, Equipment Times.
Vice President Shim Seong-woo, responsible for the India Region, stated, “Through the EXCON exhibition, we were able to promote various models produced locally in India, which enhanced our brand awareness and created new sales opportunities.” He added, “With the award received by the HX30AZ as a catalyst, we will elevate the status of HYUNDAI mini excavators in India and pursue sales expansion.”
