HD Hyundai XiteSolution Completes Employee Health Promotion Challenge Successfully

- HD Hyundai XiteSolution organized a Walking and Body Fat Reduction Challenge to promote employee health
- A total of 100 participants took part in the walking challenge, while 97 participants joined the body fat reduction challenge
                                                                  
HD Hyundai XiteSolution successfully concluded the Walking and Body Fat Reduction Challenge in the latter half of this year, attracting high interest and participation from employees.

The Walking Challenge took place from July to October over four months, requiring participants to walk more than 120,000 steps each month. Out of 100 participants, 62 achieved this goal. Those who met the target at least once received a mobile gift card worth 10,000 won, while those who accomplished it twice or more received a gift card worth 20,000 won. 

The Body Fat Reduction Challenge ran for five months, from June to October. Participants were required to meet at least three of the following five criteria: ▲ Lose 3 kg or more in body weight; ▲ Lose 3 kg or more in body fat; ▲ Reduce body fat percentage by 3% or more; ▲ Decrease visceral fat level by 2 points or more; ▲ Increase skeletal muscle mass by 1 kg or more. Out of 97 participants, six achieved their goals and were recognized as outstanding participants.

To boost motivation and engagement, the challenge offered incentives such as smartwatches for successful body-fat reduction and mobile gift cards for walking achievements. Participants reported that the challenge helped them adopt healthier daily habits and increased their awareness of the importance of physical fitness and health management.

Vice President Lee Kwang-myung (EHS Support) stated, “This walking and body fat reduction challenge is significant as it allowed employees to participate actively and make positive changes in their lives.” He added, “We will continue to prioritize employee health and safety as our top value and expand effective programs.”
